RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The sister of a Richmond father killed in a car crash said his death has rocked the family. Thirty-five-year-old Larry Johnson was a passenger when police say the driver crashed into a tree, leaving the scene and Johnson to die.
“I just feel like my brother’s still supposed to be here,” Donnesha Banks, Johnson’s sister, said. “He was full of life. We talked all the time on the phone, FaceTime, or he was over here. We live a couple streets apart.”
Banks, 40, said their family grew up in Richmond’s southside, where she’s now raising her own family. Johnson, her younger brother by five years, lived just a few streets away.
She said they were together a few hours before he died…
