FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Chicago man must serve at least 45 years in prison for his role in a deadly shooting at a south Fargo apartment complex in December 2024.
Judge Cherie L. Clark of Cass County District Court sentenced Patrick Martin to 55 years Monday, with a requirement that he serve a minimum of 45 years before becoming eligible for release. Martin will also serve five years of supervised probation following his release. He received credit for 504 days already served.
Martin pleaded guilty Dec. 29, 2025, to one count of murder in the course of a felony and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery with a firearm. A second murder charge was dismissed on motion of the state…
