MILWAUKEE (WLUK) — A Wisconsin appeals court is standing by its decision in a dispute over a $13,000 Milwaukee Brewers 50-50 raffle jackpot, rejecting an effort by the woman who held the original winning ticket to have the case reconsidered.
Annette and Matthew Flynn filed a motion for reconsideration last Thursday, asking the Wisconsin Court of Appeals to revisit its May ruling that found Annette Flynn did not claim the prize before the 50-50 raffle’s deadline. The court denied that request Monday.
The dispute stems from a July 7, 2023, Brewers game. Flynn purchased 10 raffle tickets and held the winning number that was initially selected.
