OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Nebraska Department of Revenue has a reminder of an upcoming deadline for people who pay property taxes in the state.
If a taxpayer does not agree with their property valuation for this year, a Real Property Valuation Protest must be filed on or before Tuesday, June 30, according to a release.
Officials say after a protest is filed in the mail or in person to the taxpayer’s county clerk, it will get sent to the county’s board of equalization. In Douglas County, the protest can also be filed online…
