Rockford Police impound ATVs, make arrests in weekend sweep

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police have arrested four adults and a teenager for illegally riding ATVs or dirtbikes on city streets during multiple traffic stops in the 11th Street/Harrison Avenue area over the weekend.

Authorities said the following suspects were arrested on Saturday, May 30:

Marquall Smith, 23, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and resisting arrest.

Javani Torres, 20, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and aggravated resisting arrest.

Cristian Jimenez, 32, was charged with possession of cannabis, reckless driving, and resisting arrest.

Isaiah Webster, 23, was charged with resisting arrest.
