UPDATE 6/1/26: Following a trial in May, a jury found Heath Sanborn not guilty of murder in the death of a man alongside a Stone County highway in May 2025, according to the Stone County Prosecutor.
The jury found Sanborn not guilty of first-degree murder and armed criminal action. Two charges of unlawful use of a weapon were also dismissed.
