2 teens arrested after a pursuit on I-29 Monday

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in a pursuit that ended in Brookings County early Monday morning.

The two teen occupants of a pickup truck were taken into custody when the early Monday morning pursuit ended.

Around 3:30 a.m. Monday, the Moody County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Brookings County Sheriff with a pursuit traveling northbound on Interstate 29 into Brookings County and continued north.

The vehicle, a stolen F-550 with a dump bed from Sioux Falls, continued to elude officers and was attempting to collide with other traffic. Spike stripes were successfully deployed on the vehicle by a Deuel County Deputy. Both front tires were damaged and eventually came off the rims…
