June is here, and South Sounders can expect their first taste of summer weather.
According to the National Weather Service, Tacoma residents can expect a high of 87 degrees on Tuesday, June 2, with a drop back to cooler weather at 76 degrees on Wednesday, June 3 and 70 degrees on Thursday, June 4.
Other cities in Pierce County will see more sustained heat over the coming days. Each will see a dramatic rise on Tuesday, followed by declines that remained in the 70s or late 60s through Thursday.
- Lakewood: 86 degrees on June 2, 71 degrees on June 3 and 70 degrees on June 4.
- Puyallup: 87 degrees on June 2, 72 degrees on June 3 and 71 degrees on June 4.
- University Place: 85 degrees on June 2, 70 degrees on June 3, 69 degrees on June 4.
- Parkland: 87 degrees on 71 degrees on June 3 and 70 degrees on June 4.
- Bonney Lake: 85 degrees on June 2, 71 degrees on June 3 and 69 degrees on June 4.
