15-year-old boy and adult man subject to violent assault by group of 20 on North Shore

NORTH SHORE, Oahu (KHON2) — On Saturday night, 23-year-old North Shore lifeguard Kekoa Tamale was in his truck at Dead Man’s Curve when he saw a group of around 20 people attacking a 15-year-old boy.

“They kicked him unconscious on the sand, and as I’m coming up to them, they also had him hog-tied, or they’re holding his hands behind his back, and the other boys are punching him while the other ones are holding his hands behind his back like a tie. It was disgusting,” said Tamale.

Tamale quickly intervened and said the boy was able to get away, but the group then began attacking him. The incident can be seen in viral videos across social media…
