Arizona Man Arrested After Alleged Strangulation and Nine-Month Manhunt
Paulden, AZ – Authorities in Arizona have apprehended Jason Marchesano, 46, following an extensive investigation into an alleged strangulation incident last October. Marchesano is accused of tying up his girlfriend with bedsheets inside an RV trailer in Paulden on October 28, 2025. The victim managed to escape and report the assault, prompting a prolonged search by law enforcement.
Police secured a search warrant for the trailer, where they recovered the bedsheets used in the alleged attack as well as the victim’s identification. After nearly nine months on the run, Marchesano was located and arrested this week at Legoland in Carlsbad, California. He now faces charges including homicide, assault, and kidnapping, though it remains unclear if all charges relate directly to the October incident.
“This arrest was made possible by strong investigative work, interagency partnership, and a community member who chose to speak up,” said the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office in a statement.
Interestingly, records searches in Yavapai County and statewide Arizona inmate databases showed no current listings under Marchesano’s name.
The arrest occurs shortly after another tragic event in Arizona. In Glendale, Andrea Clarice Davis, 38, allegedly shot her husband, Nolan Davis, 39, and another woman outside a local sports bar.
The unidentified woman was wounded in the head, while Nolan was unharmed. Following the shooting, Andrea reportedly sent threatening images involving their children to Nolan.
Police confirmed the parties were familiar but have yet to clarify the nature of their relationship.
Jose Santiago, a police spokesperson, commented on the gravity of that situation: “Because we already knew this was a dire situation, officers forced their way into the home and that’s when they encountered this horrific situation.”
Both cases remain under active investigation as authorities seek to clarify details and pursue justice.
