As expected, current Town Council member Rebecca Link has officially filed to run for Fort Myers Beach Town Council. Link was elected to Karen Woodson’s seat when Woodson was recalled by the voters last year.
Link joins Ed Schoonover as the first two official candidates to run. There are 3 seats on the November ballot. Link’s seat, John King’s seat and John McLean’s seat.
McLean was appointed to Jim Atterholt’s seat when Atterholt resigned at the end of last year. McLean is expected to run. King is considering running. Tom Brady has also said he plans to run…
