CECIL, Ala. (WSFA) – Multiple electric companies are reporting major power outages affecting thousands Monday night.
According to Dixie Electric, storms have cause damage to the transmission lines at Cecil substation.
“The single largest outage we are experiencing is off of our Cecil substation with approximately 2,600 members without power,” Dixie Electric said.
PowerSouth crews are currently working to repair the transmission lines. Once that step is complete, Dixie crews will begin repairing the distribution lines…
