The Aransas County Navigation District commissioners continued moving forward with a five-year master plan that will be submitted to the Texas Department of Transportation to help with obtaining future grants.
At-large commissioner Tommy Moore presented the commissioners with a draft of potential projects the district would put in the master plan during the regular June 1 meeting.
The plan is due by June 15, and Victor Martinez, who is with LGA Engineering, said the plan will be presented to TxDOT and then TxDOT will take it to the Texas Legislature’s Transportation Committee as part of a broad overview of port and maritime projects…
