PARK CITY, Kan. (KWCH) – The World Cup is expected to generate billions of dollars in the US, with increased business at local bars. Kansas is looking to secure a small slice of that by allowing liquor sales 23 hours a day during the tournament.
Park City is one of just a few cities in the state to opt into the law.
Once the World Cup begins, you’ll be able to purchase alcohol nearly 24/7 in cities that have opted in. One place that will no doubt be busy is Gilley’s in Park City, who said it’s a big opportunity and they are expecting to see a boost in turnout during the later hours…
