Authorities search for family of child found alone in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood

CLEVELAND — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the parent or guardian of a young girl who was found wandering alone Tuesday morning in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood.

According to the Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services, the child was found around 9 a.m. near East 69th Street and Hough Avenue.

Cleveland police responded after a bystander reported finding the girl by herself. Officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate a parent, guardian or caregiver, officials said…
