Smoke shop employee shot during robbery attempt in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A smoke shop employee was critically injured after being shot during an attempted robbery in southeast Fresno early Tuesday morning, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Police say officers responded around 3:55 a.m. to APH Smoke Shop in the 3900 block of East Belmont Avenue near Ninth Street after receiving reports of a shooting victim.
