American Eagle Foundation follows up on missing Dollywood eagle sightings

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The American Eagle Foundation is looking into the latest sightings of Rockland and Wesley, two un-releasable eagles lost after overnight storms at Dollywood’s Eagle Mountain Sanctuary in April.

Rockland has been spotted in the Karns area, specifically around the Glenlake subdivision, according to the foundation. A spokesperson with the eagle rehab, Crystal Slusher, was able to confirm people had shared pictures and videos of the missing eagle.
