MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are still searching for leads in a 2023 drive-by shooting that killed a toddler just days before Christmas in Frayser.
Investigators say the shooting happened Dec. 16 on Wellons Avenue, when suspects in a passing vehicle fired multiple rounds into a home. A 1-year-old child — identified by family as Leo Amir Weathers — was inside, struck by gunfire and killed.
