Off and on storm chances continue; heat and humidity build this weekend

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Isolated to widely scattered showers and storms will remain possible across Nebraska through Tuesday evening before activity winds down with sunset. Residents should stay weather aware, especially across western and central portions of the state where the strongest storms are most likely.

Tonight: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in the West

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. CDT across the northwest corner of Nebraska, where the best chance for stronger storms will occur. A line of storms is expected to move across the state from west to east, similar to Monday night’s activity.
