Some people in Lubbock are dangerous because they make terrible decisions. Some are dangerous because they spread gossip faster than your Aunt Joyce. Others are dangerous because they can convince a group of relatively intelligent folk, after a night at the bar, that midnight is a perfectly acceptable time to order pizza, and that there’s ZERO chance you’ll all be asleep when the deliveryman arrives. (This has happened to me twice.)
Lubbock is Full of Dangerous People
I’m talking about everyday menaces, hiding right there in plain sight. People who can turn a 5-minute errand into a three-hour adventure that may or may not involve the police. People who “accidentally” start family drama on Turkey Day. People who volunteer you to help them move before the landlord shows up at 10 am with eviction papers. The people who say things like “trust me” right before everything falls to total sh*t.
We all know these people. You might be related to them. There’s even a decent chance you are one of these people. They may not be breaking any laws, but they are dangerous and running amok in Lubbock.
