Oklahoma is clearly must-see TV with Super Regional times announced

The Oklahoma Sooners are somehow still playing baseball, and even ESPN realizes college baseball fans don’t want to miss an inning of this electrifying team.

Times for all eight Super Regional matchups of the NCAA Baseball Championship were announced on Tuesday morning, and the Sooners are apparently worthy of primetime every time they take the field against the No. 15 national seed Kansas Jayhawks in Lawrence. The Lawrence Super Regional was one of only three pairings to get first pitches scheduled for the evening for both Game 1 and Game 2. And the Austin Super Regional only got late games because Texas is hosting Oregon from the West Coast.

ESPN gives Sooners primetime spotlight in Lawrence Super Regional vs. Kansas

The Lawrence Super Regional will start at 5 p.m. CT Saturday on ESPN2. The two teams will then square off at the same time again on Sunday, but a channel has not been announced yet. If OU and Kansas split those two games, then there will be a Game 3 on Monday, and that time and TV slot will be announced after Monday’s slate is determined.
