Summers in Colorado are full of great outdoor activities, including seeing shows outdoors. You don’t have to go to Red Rocks or Fiddler’s Green though, to see a great band, like at Windsor’s Summer Concert Series.
Where Does Windsor Hold its Summer Concerts?
For many years, Windsor’s Summer Concert Series took place on a mobile stage that they would set up at Eastman Park. Soccer fields would give way to lawn chairs and folks gathering to see local music. Today, the concerts are held at the permanent stage they now have at Boardwalk Community Park.
These Thursday night shows during the summer bring a lot of people to Downtown Windsor and Boardwalk Park; it’s a great way to see what’s new in Downtown since the previous year. For example, you may want to grab a quick cocktail at Twin Staves which has opened since the 2025 series.
Something to look forward to with the 2027 concert series, it the renovated parking lot in Downtown, the “Backlot.” The $4.5 million project, set to begin in June of 2026, will include 130 parking spaces, with lights and cameras for safety. We do see a few people use our parking lot at 600 Main, and then walk over to Boardwalk Park…
