ANN ARBOR, MI – A lithium battery is believed to have sparked a fire in a garbage truck near the University of Michigan’s athletic campus.
Crews were called around 8 a.m., Tuesday, June 2 for a report of a fire inside a garbage truck near Lacrosse Stadium, 2500 S. State St., according to officials with the university and the Ann Arbor Fire Department.
