COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – More than 500 animals are waiting for a home at Paws Humane, and the shelter says it may be forced to euthanize animals if enough are not adopted by Wednesday.
The shelter is housing 505 animals and has reached critical capacity. Director Courtney Peirce said the shelter does not have enough space to house the animals safely.
