WALLS, Miss. — DeSoto County is mourning after a 13-year-old boy fell into a neighborhood lake and died Monday.
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office says there was a tragic accident in the Ranch Meadows subdivision, where a 13-year-old boy fell into a neighborhood lake Monday and was rushed to the hospital. He later died from his injuries.
Neighbors said this is the first time a tragedy like this happened at the lake.
