LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A proposed 11-story, 338-unit residential development in downtown Lincoln is one step closer to getting its final design approved after a meeting with city officials Tuesday.
The development is proposed to go on the corner of 11th and N streets, where the south side of the historic Gold’s Building was demolished in 2023.
Aside from the residential portion, the building could also include ground-floor space for potential retail, a lobby or other active uses and would expand sidewalks and landscaping around the building.
REV Development brought forward the proposed design, which is expected to require Tax Increment Financing (TIF) for some of the funding.
