The New Orleans Recreation and Development Commission has tapped a longtime staffer to lead the department temporarily after CEO Larry Barabino Jr. announced his resignation last week.
Chief Programming Officer Natasha Robinson was named interim CEO at a board meeting Tuesday until commissioners find a permanent leader for the city’s public recreation department. Robinson will take over once Barabino exits June 12 for a new role at the Housing Authority of New Orleans.
