WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Shoe Castle, a shoe store near 21st and Grove streets, was burglarized early Monday morning.
Police say the culprit shattered the front window to break in and stole shoes, the P.O.S. system, the cash register and several sentimental items.
Shoe Castle is not a typical store. Owner A.J. Bohannon gives away nearly as many shoes as he sells and never lets kids leave without a pair. “Luxury for less,” he says.
