LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) announced it has launched a new program called LC State Elevate on Monday.
The new program will provide new and improved opportunities for busy adults, according to LCSC.
Below are the things the new program includes:
- Three-Year Degree // 90-credit, accelerated Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree option that will be available to students who quickly want to obtain a bachelor’s degree, to continue to graduate school
- Portfolio // Students who complete LC State’s portfolio program can earn credits for experience, shortening the time it takes to obtain a degree
- Industry BAS // This degree leverages LC State’s portfolio program and can help individual people with industry experience turn their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) into a BAS
- Online // Offering more than 20 new online degrees, including adding new courses like kinesiology, to give busy adults the option to pursue a degree on their own terms
- CTE+ // Offers an extended menu of options for adult learners, such as afternoon and weekend sections, which are added for at-capacity programs like welding and diesel
- Graduate // LC State has launched a direct entry master’s in nursing leadership and healthcare, which allows people with bachelor’s degrees in any field to complete a master’s in nursing and pursue a career in healthcare leadership
LCSC says it’s continuing with the expansion of its prison education program located at Orofino, Boise and Pocatello facilities. During the spring, 40 of the program’s nearly 200 students graduated with bachelor’s and associate degrees in business communications…
