University of Michigan researcher seen arguing prior to suicidal fall

ANN ARBOR, MI — The death of a Chinese University of Michigan researcher has been confirmed a suicide, according to reports.

A co-worker saw Danhao Wang, 31, arguing on the phone the evening of March 19, before the researcher climbed over a glass rail on the third floor and fell to the second floor of UM’s George G. Brown Building in Ann Arbor, according to reports from the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News.

The co-worker then called 911 and an ambulance rushed Wang, an assistant research scientist at UM, to Michigan Medicine’s emergency department…
