Hartselle Junior High School teacher Clayton Malke has spent the past two years teaching world history, helping students better understand the cultures and events that shaped the modern world. Now, he is preparing for a new journey of his own.
Malke will leave in July to begin teaching this fall at an international school in Shanghai, combining what he described as a lifelong passion for history and global culture with an opportunity to grow as an educator.
“I’ve always been fascinated by global culture, history and current events,” Malke said. “Just as much as it is a career opportunity, this is a chance for me to explore a lifelong passion of mine.”…
