Lexington woman pleads guilty to manslaughter in 2025 shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington woman who shot and killed a man in 2025 pleaded guilty to amended charges.

The Lexington Police Department said that officers were called to a home May 2, 2025, near Newtown Pike and West Third Street regarding a shooting.

Officers found one man, Elmer Joseph Eldridge, 24, with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Lexington police announced later that day that Eldridge died at the hospital.
