PECATONICA — The Forest Preserves of Winnebago County and the Muskies, Inc-Flatlanders Chapter will hand out free tackle boxes and rods and reels during the annual Hooked on Fun Kid’s Fishing Derby.
The free youth fishing event happens from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 13 at Four Lakes Forest Preserve, 10207 Fish Hatchery Road. The drop-in event is for youth ages 3-16. A fishing license is not required to participate. Participation registration begins at 8:30 a.m…
