WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Sedgwick County District Attorney Marc Bennett discussed the clemency request of Reginald and Jonathan Carr during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Bennett did not make any declarations about the Carrs’ case, leaving it in the hands of Kansas governor Laura Kelly. He said that the state has seen several clemency requests recently, but he doesn’t know why.
