MDC hosts native forage grazing workshop

The Missouri Department of Conservation hosted a Native Forage Grazing Workshop on May 28 at the MU Southwest Research, Extension and Education Center in Mt. Vernon, bringing in producers and agricultural professionals to explore the benefits of introducing native grasses into their grazing systems.

The workshop focused on establishing, managing, and the benefits of incorporating native warm-season grasses (NWSG) to help producers get the most from their grazing systems.
