LARCHWOOD—Two teenagers were charged following a traffic stop about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, near Larchwood.
The charges against 18-year-old Kelvin Gene Cooper of Remsen and a 17-year-old juvenile stemmed from the stop of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup for a traffic violation on the 1500 mile of Highway 182, about a mile south of Larchwood, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Cooper, the driver, had bloodshot/watery eyes, droopy eyelids, slurred speech, and slow responsiveness and admitted to recently smoking marijuana and being impaired, according to the incident report…
