Shades of Motherhood Network opening a new Afrocentric boutique, Common Grounds

SPOKANE, Wash. — Shades of Motherhood Network is opening a new Afrocentric boutique inside Northtown Mall. More than a shopping destination, the organization says Common Grounds is a space where culture, fashion and storytelling come together to honor history, celebrate creativity and strengthen community.

The grand opening will be held on June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The first 10 guests will receive a complimentary Dear Sis Box valued at $25. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, community connections and interactive experiences throughout the day.
