AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A veteran and her service dog received a vehicle donation that will help an organization provide trained service dogs to veterans across the country.

October are part of Pawsitive for Heroes, an organization that provides highly trained service dogs to veterans. Hillyard said October changed her life.
“He changed my whole life. I really was struggling and he helped me tremendously become a normal person in society,” Hillyard said.
