Hull police prepare for planned ‘large gathering’ at Nantasket Beach

The Hull Police Department will increase its staffing levels Friday in response to a “potential large gathering” at the town’s Nantasket Beach, the department said.

Hull Police Chief John Dunn said in a press release Wednesday that the department was alerted to social media posts about the gathering. He did not share details about the supposed meetup but said the department “will have zero tolerance for criminal activity, alcohol consumption on the beach, disorderly behavior or violations of parking and traffic regulations.”…
