A man is seriously injured after authorities say his throat was cut during an assault in Cumberland County Wednesday night.
Emergency crews treated the victim at the Wade Community Fire Department after he arrived with a severe neck injury and heavy bleeding. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
