FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Tuesday night, Fort Wayne’s Department of Neighborhoods took an important step toward enacting a new neighborhood plan for Waynedale.
“I was proud and privileged to be part of this process,” said City Councilman (R) Scott Myers, who represents the 6th district where Waynedale sits. “We talked to over 1,000 face to face… and from this came the comprehensive long-term Waynedale 2040 plan.”
The department brought that long-term plan before city council, and with a do-pass recommendation, it is now set to be adopted on June 9…
