Paramedics, civilians honored for life-saving reactions to cardiac arrests

New Castle County Paramedic Corporal Travis Tome was in an ambulance taking a patient having a heart attack to the hospital, when things suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Euston, along with Paramedic First Class Michael Connell sprung into action, putting a defibrillator on Tom Euston, bringing his heart back on rhythm, and after surgery, back to a normal life.
