A new spot for delicious soft serve is opening in time for summer.
Laguna Soft Serve & Taiyaki is a concept to serve Japanese street food desserts very soon. An address has not yet been released, but construction is underway. Co-owner Muhannad Hamdan told What Now Detroit the team is hoping to debut the new spot in about one-to-two months.
“Taiyaki is a popular Japanese street food consisting of a waffle-like cake batter that is filled with a sweet red bean paste (anko) and baked in a fish-shaped mold, with modern variations including sweet potato, chocolate, and ice cream fillings,” says the description on their Facebook page…
