LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that a man was arrested after he placed his ex-girlfriend in zip-ties and duct tape and drove her across the country in a “road trip from hell.”
The investigation began on Tuesday, June 2, when a woman reported that she was afraid that her ex-boyfriend had placed a tracking device on her car.
