REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. — Redstone Test Center gets new commander during ceremony at Redstone Arsenal – A Hawaii native is now leading one of the Army’s premier development and testing hubs after a change of command ceremony Friday at Redstone Arsenal.
Col. Aaron Kia took over as commander of Redstone Test Center, succeeding Col. Joe Alexander during an afternoon ceremony at the Aviation Test and Instrumentation Integration Facility attended by about 400 people. Kia said the center is positioned to move quickly in delivering capabilities to soldiers.
“I’m excited,” Kia said. “There’s a lot of great things already happening here at RTC. We are prime to deliver capabilities to the Soldier with speed.”…
