Crab legs and ceviche are out and kabobs and shawarma are in at a Lakeview spot now being renovated to become a new location for a familiar local restaurant name.
Boil & Barrel has closed at 900 Harrison Ave. after about nine months in business. The address will soon become the latest outpost of Byblos, the local Middle Eastern restaurant that’s been part of the local dining scene for more than 30 years.
Byblos founder Hicham Khodr was an owner of Boil & Barrel. He said the seafood restaurant wasn’t doing enough business and believes the proven concept of Byblos will be a better fit for the Lakeview area…
