‘Truly awful’: Elijah Wood urges Alamo Drafthouse to revert mobile food ordering back to paper and pen

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Earlier this year, Austin-based movie theater chain Alamo Drafthouse replaced its pen and paper food ordering system for a mobile-based system, drawing criticism from movie-goers, staff and celebrities.

The actor posted about the system change on X this week, calling the food ordering experience “truly awful.”
