CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Multiple developers are reaching out to Fairfax and Linn County leaders about potential sites for data centers near Morgan Creek.
The latest inquiries are on top of two projects underway and a third proposed near Palo. Google and QTS are already building facilities in the Big Cedar Industrial area on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids.
Fairfax city leaders said a three-square-mile stretch outside the community is being looked at by developers, though there are no concrete plans.
