Bellevue City council approves security camera system to combat vandalism in parks

BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) – The Bellevue City Council voted Tuesday to spend nearly $45,000 on a surveillance camera system at American Heroes Park.

The council approved a deal with Omaha-based Atronic Alarms to install security cameras throughout the park. Five camera systems will be mounted on light poles around the playground, each capable of capturing faces, vehicles and activity across the entire park area.
