SAN ANTONIO – Crews responded to a high-water rescue on the North Side early Friday morning after a man became stranded in floodwaters.
First responders were called just after 7 a.m. off Burnwood Lane near Blanco Road where witnesses said the man was in distress.
Officials said he was initially on the opposite side of a bridge before eventually moving downstream about 100 feet, where he ended up in brush near San Pedro Avenue and Basse Road…
